Surf On The Streets

Description

This mod adds the ability to surf on the streets. It's fully self-controlled, meaning you decide whether you want to initiate a surf or just land normally. The mod also comes with infinite surf on the water. Once again, you decide whether you want to surf on the water indefinitely or stop.

Installation instructions

Install it through Overstrike.

1. Open Overstrike

2. Enable scripts

4. Choose SurfOnTheStreet.zip

How To USE On PC:

On the street:

Hold CTRL when you're close to the ground to initiate surfing. As long as you hold CTRL, you're surfing.

On water:

Initiate a normal surf, and then hold CTRL. You'll surf indefinitely till you release.

How To USE With a Controller:

On the street -normal:

Hold Square/X when you're close to the ground to initiate surfing. As long as you hold the button, you're surfing.

From tricking:

With controller, you can initiate surfing from tricking <- Same method as on the street, but you still have to let go and press/hold square/X to initiate surfing. Just like normal ^. Only difference is, which I like, is if you don't time it right, you'll smack the ground flat.

On water:

Initiate a normal surf, and then hold the surf button. You'll surf indefinitely till you release.

My plan is also to implement a charged jump. That'd be pretty fun I reckon

Known Issues:

Water sfx happens sometimes. I'm looking into it, but I feel it's harder to figure out than the actual mod.

It doesn't work properly for some folks.

Potential fixes:

Put the mod higher up in the load order.
