📋 About This Mod
The original NYC immersion mod for Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered and Spider-Man: Miles Morales, now available for Spider-Man 2.
🕷 What does this mod do?
Like it or not, commercialism is a core component to the real New York experience, surrounded by towering billboards and awash in the Broadway show posters. Real Branding & Ads updates all Times Square ads, most English billboards, NYPD vehicle decals and uniforms, museum branding, and hot dog carts with brand new images featuring real brands. More than 100 new images were created for this mod, including both real ads and from-scratch ads based on and inspired by real ads. Images have been custom-tailored for the game to minimize stretching and distorting.
New Yorkers will find some real-world NYC ads and branding they will recognize from real life, from the iconic Coke ads in Times Square, to banners for real, actual exhibits at the American Museum of Natural History, real subway entrance signage, all the way down to the uniquely kitschy menu signs on the hot dog carts.
I love New York City and hope it shows through this mod!

Version 1. 0: Initial release. Includes all Times Square ads, most billboards, NYPD vehicles and uniforms, museums, and more. The ads and media chosen are appropriate to New York and the game's late 2020 setting. Please note that since most real-world media was delayed from 2020 to 2021 due to COVID, I have used a mix of 2020 and 2021 media here with the assumption that it all came out at the same time in this universe.
