Qurriel's Reshade Setup

There are 2 parts to this mod. I'll go over both of them in separate sections. You just need reshade installed on Sm2 along with the shader toggle addon. I'll leave links to both. You can download either of them, they both work fine alone and don't have to be together so if you already have a nice reshade don't worry you can just download the shader toggler if that's what you want. same goes if you just want the reshade without the shader toggler.

First part of the mod is just my reshade to make the game look nicer with a slight blue tint aswell as some other adjustments. Screenshots show before and after for comparison. Won't be for everyone I do recommend making your own reshade preset as it's quite fun.

Second part of the mod is shader toggler which is an addon for reshade that allows you to toggle off certain effects and visuals of a game. A good example of this with my mod is the crush attacks UI being far less noticeable visible. You can also toggle all the effects in the shader toggle menu in reshade if you want some effects back. very customizable for users.

Installation:

Reshade should be installed on sm2 already, Simply drag and drop the reshade-shaders folder into your Installation of Sm2. skip the prompt of replace files in the installation already. When you launch sm2 open reshade using the Home key on your keyboard and just below the top of the menu click reshade preset and go into the reshade-shaders folder where "Spider-Man 2 Qurriel's Reshade should be. click it and the reshade will be applied. I recommend going into setting's at the top and effect toggle key should be made something like 0 so you can toggle the reshade off and on.

Reshade Toggler should already be installed into sm2 using the provided links lower. It's similar as you just drag and drop the files for it into installation of sm2 and it should auto apply. when you open reshade you'll have a new menu you can open in-between home and settings. you'll find all the effects in the drop down and you can see what's enabled by default when the game launches and what's disabled. if you click on edit for an effect you'll have 3 things you can change. the name of the effect, the key to toggle it on and off, and whether or not it's active on start-up. most effects are on the down arrow so clicking that will turn some effects off and some on. you change them to what you want. Happy editing.

Performance note:

I don't believe the performance cost is high at all most is 5fps, I run frame gen for 120fps at 1440p. The game is unoptimized anyway so it's a lost fight already. report if you do notice performance issues though as it's good to know.
