Description

Symbiote Tendrils Overhaul is a work-in-progress modular customization mod for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. It allows players to independently change the colors of Peter Parker’s Symbiote and Anti-Venom tendrils. The mod currently focuses exclusively on Peter. It is not intended to recolor other symbiote entities such as Venom, Harry, Scream and such. Although the current version has undergone extensive testing, the mod is still under active development. Some attacks, gameplay effects, or cutscene tendrils may display incorrect colors or remain unchanged. Users should expect occasional bugs while coverage continues to improve.

The mod changes visual assets only. It does not modify damage, cooldowns, ability availability, progression, or gameplay balance.

Planned features

These features are planned but are not currently available. Their implementation and release order may change during development.

Bug reports

Useful bug reports must identify the exact context in which the problem occurs.

For cutscene-related bugs, include:

  []Which character owns or creates the affected tendrils.[/]

  []The selected Symbiote and Anti-Venom colors.[/]

  []Screenshots or video whenever possible.

For gameplay-related bugs, include:

  []Which character performed it.[/]

  []The mission, encounter, or section of the game.[/]

  []Whether Peter was using Symbiote or Anti-Venom abilities.[/]

  []What color was selected and what appeared instead.[/]

  []Clear reproduction steps, if the issue can be repeated.[/]

Reports such as “some tendrils are the wrong color” do not provide enough information to locate the affected asset. The more precise the report, the greater the chance that the issue can be reproduced and corrected.
