About The Mod

I have replaced over 150 animations to make this mod possible. I loved the Gwen Inspired Swinging mod in the first game, but since no one had made one for MSM2, I decided to make it myself. This mod uses animations from Miles and unused animations to create a completely new traversal experience. This mod took weeks of searching to find the right animation files, and it was incredibly frustrating at some points, but it was worth it. I think I created a really fun and complete traversal experience, and I am really happy with how it turned out! I am excited for y'all to try it too!

This wasn't just a simple animation swap. I spent weeks searching through animation files trying to find animations that would work properly with the existing traversal system. There were a LOT of files to go through, and figuring out what each animation actually did was probably one of the most frustrating parts of making this mod. There were many points where I almost gave up on this mod. Some animations had names that gave me an idea of what they were supposed to do, while others required testing them in-game to figure out what they actually were. After testing a ton of animations, I put together what I think is a really fun and complete traversal experience.

Known Issues:

• []After a Web Jump, the transition back into web swinging isn't always very smooth.[/]

  []A small number of animations may rarely cause the web to appear in the wrong hand.[/]

  []Spooderman can happen with some animations, but you shouldn't notice it very often.[/]

  Future Updates:

  I plan to make the mod modular, allowing you to choose which animations you want to use instead of having to use the entire animation set.

  I may also continue adding more animations and improving existing ones as I discover more files. In the future, I may also make another completely new swinging mod with a different set of animations and ideas.

  Download this mod if you want a really fun swinging experience with tons of different animations and don't mind a few bugs here and there.
  If you're looking for a fluid or consistent swinging experience, this mod may not be what you're looking for.
