ELYSIUM - Cinematic Gameplay

• Why do we have a HUGE map and somehow it feels small? Why does swinging/traversing feels unimmersive? These questions always bothered me, so i decided to create this mod to fix them. The answers are: the camera is too far away from the character, which makes him look like an ant with buildings being not so tall, along with a RIDDICULOUS swinging speed that looks like the speed of light. Well, it's time to fix that!

• This mod isn't just a camera and physics replacer, it's my work result of HUNDREDS of hours put together. Every single replacement in this mod has been throughly tested to make sure things run as smoothly as possible. With that said, not everything will be 100% perfect, because perfection doesn't exist, but it's good enough for me as it is.

• 'ELYSIUM - Cinematic Gameplay' is MODULAR, which means I've split the features into different files so that you can choose what you want to have. This makes it easier to be compatible with other mods.

REQUIREMENTS: This mod is meant to be used with the following IN-GAME settings:

- Field of View (FOV) = 10

- Swing Camera Motion = 0

NOTE: If you change these settings you will end up with different results than intended.

  

Without further ado, let's get started!

• First of all, one of the main issues i described above: Swinging Speed. If we make it too slow, we won't be able to do anything (chases, etc), if we leave it untouched we won't be immersed in the game, especially if you play with Ray Tracing enabled like me, you'll definitely need an Arc Reactor to keep up if you don't want to stutter every 5 seconds or less. So, what's the solution? Simple:

- Significantly less MAXIMUM speed: This makes the maximum speed that you can go slower, while NOT affecting your minimum speed (you can still go very fast);

- Moderately less Air Control: Reduces the air control that you have on the character to make every input matter (you still have decent mobility though);

- Slightly increased Gravity strength: Will create that feeling of 'pendulum' when swinging that we see in the movies;

- Removed the 'loop' restriction: This means that you can do infinite and manual loop de loops, but this is only meant to be used during the dive state and not manually. This feature is here only to help
