ANYWHO, just like Marvel Heroes FreeCam (M. H. F. C), this is an unofficial fan mod!

It's not made by, or endorsed by, Marvel, Disney or anybody who owns a lawyer.

ahem Okay, so, picture this:

You're Wolverine. You've "borrowed" Cyclops' motorcycle.

The wind is in your hair, the road is wide open, and then -- BONK --

a whole building pops into existence directly in front of your face.

Rude. Nobody ordered a surprise skyscraper.

This mod fixes that. It makes the world load MUCH further out, so you

can actually see down the street. Buildings, props, enemies, the lot.

Why do you want this? Well I guess normally you don't.

But my super awesome MHFC let's you play in 3rd person, and this helps!

THIS IS A SERVER-SIDE FIX.

The reason buildings pop in is that the SERVER only sends your game

the part of the world near you. Not your graphics card. Not your PC.

The server. So the fix has to happen on the server too.

WHAT THAT MEANS FOR YOU:

If you run your OWN server (MHServerEmu on your own PC or

machine): this tool works. Go ahead. That's who it's for.

If you play on SOMEONE ELSE'S server (a public one, like

Tahiti, or any community server): this tool CANNOT change it,

and no tool on your PC can. Only that server's owner/GM can.

You can ask them nicely! See "ASK YOUR GM" below. I even

wrote them a note. You're welcome.

No, seriously.

Seeing further only matters if you can actually LOOK further. The

companion mod, Marvel Heroes FreeCam (M. H. F. C), is a client-side

camera mod that lets you orbit and tilt the view like City of Heroes.

Or World of Warcraft, I guess. Far Sight was made to go with it.
