UTOC Signature Bypass Patch for Marvel Rivals (Enable Mod Loading)

This is a UTOC Signature Bypass patch for Marvel Rivals that allows you to modify the game to load new pak/utoc/ucas files without needing a .sig file.

WARNING!!! Old mods will not work as is! Mods will need to be updated to be in IO Store utoc/ucas format to work now!

This means all mods made before the April 2025 patch no longer work!

Delete any mods that have not been updated or the game will crash on startup!

To install, download the mod zip file, on Steam, right click the game and click on "browse local files".

Then enter the "MarvelRivals" folder, then the "MarvelGame" folder, then "Marvel", then the "Binaries" folder, and finally the "Win64" folder, so it should look something like this;

(Game install folder)\MarvelRivals\MarvelGame\Marvel\Binaries\Win64\

Using 7zip or a similar program like WinRAR, extract the contents of the mod zip in this folder alongside the game's exe and it should now look something like this:

EPIC GAMES LOCATION:

C:\Programs\Epic Games\MarvelRivalsjKtnW\MarvelGame\Marvel\Binaries\Win64\

Crashing on Startup or other weird ingame issues:

Manually delete your game and then verify integrity of game files on Steam to redownload, some users have leftover old files (such as Season 1 PAK files) which cause issues.

"Virus Detected"

Please note that windows defender will falsely label ASI Loader as a virus, however it is not, as you can see from the virus scan here, the mod contains no malicious files.

Steam Deck/Linux:

Add the following to the game's launch options:

WINEDLLOVERRIDES="dsound=n"  %command%
