📋 About This Mod
Description
This mesh and texture mod updates the hair on the base skin as well as the base skin recolors (the recolors are shinier than I would like though, but unable to find a way to fix that).
Optional mods:
-
[]Stubble texture to give Gambit some facial hair. (THIS USED TO BE INCLUDED BY DEFAULT - NOW NEEDS TO BE INSTALLED SEPARATELY)[/]
[]UI mod to make the icons match the updated model. This includes an updated animated Champion icon.[/]
NOTE: I've updated the UI mod since the first upload to update the Lord icon.Installation instructions

Requirements
This requires the UTOC Signature Bypass mod to work.
A cosmetic remesh of Gambit's hair to match his comic book look, with optional stubble texture and updated UI images. Small but focused mod for X-Men fans, 17 endorsements, last updated June 2026.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Niche but dedicated community (17 endorsements, 1,176 downloads)
- Gives Gambit a more comic-accurate appearance
- Includes optional stubble and UI updates for a complete package
⚠️ Cons
- Low endorsement count means it's not widely tested
- Only affects Gambit's hair—no other changes
- Last updated June 2026—may not be compatible with future game patches
For X-Men fans who want Gambit to look like his comic counterpart. Skip if you're looking for gameplay changes or broader visual overhauls—this is purely cosmetic.
💡 Beginner Tips
- If using a mod manager, preview the hair in-game to ensure it fits your character's face shape.
- Make sure to install the optional stubble texture if you want the full comic look—it's not included by default.
- Check the mod's page for any required base game updates or compatibility notes before installing.
