Norrland WRC

Ladies and Gentlemen, START YOUR ENGINES!! Welcome to the Norrland World Rally Championship!! This race is not for the faint of heart, nor for those that need prolonged concentration! A quick over view of the track. Racers will start and finish in Buretorp Raceway, the first stretch is a mix of asphalt and dirt in a challenging Rally-cross setting, before plunging into a flat out sprint across the water into the snow capped hills and frozen ice lakes. Show the speed of your machines down the length of the runway, before hitting the jump and heading out into the snowy hinterland. Becareful, the ice can be an unforgiving foe. Next racers will exit the tunnel before hitting the switch back road up the hill where at the or near the top the race takes an unexpected detour! For all you arachnaphobes out there, might want to close your eyes and shut your ears as the racers head through the core of the mountain where recently a small nest of mechanical spiders were located! Upon exiting the cave complex, you'll find yourself at the top of the ski jump and taking the plunge before heading into the green plains. After this comes the next big off road section which includes winding roads through the low hills, before a near verticle hill climb up the mountain and back down and heading into the swamp land which has claimed many a racers cars! If you successfully traverse the swamp, you'll be on the last stretch, a quick whip around the hills, before turning into and over them and around them again before hitting the final track straight back to the buretorp raceway and the finish line! This is a gruelling race which claims many a vehicle and only the hardened and crazy need apply!! And now, it looks as though our racers are lined up, engines purring and rearing to go, so without further pause, LET THE RACING BEGIN!! Update!: We now have a Boat race on the lake to compliment our WRC. Interested in pure speed? Why not head over and cheer on the speed boat racers!
