Balance Tower

Green LED indicates that servo stabilization is on. Press F to turn off/on stabilization. Press Spacebar to turn on/off hovers to bring back to starting position. This pendulum style design self stabilizes by swinging a weight back and forth to keep the whole system upright. The tower is floating on bearings at the base and servos at the top are tied to a gyroscope to sense when the whole tower is starting to fall. A green LED indicates when the servos are manually turned on or off. We also have hover pads on the left and right which are only used to bring the tower back up to the starting position if the tower falls over. I've been building very basic designs just to understand how physics and programming in Main Assembly works. It took quite a while to get the the settings just right! If you change the weight of any part of the tower, the programming parameters need to be readjusted or it won't stabilize anymore.
