Half Second Ultimate Drag Racing Machine

Using the new technology called 'getting hammered' it is now possible to achieve sub- 1 second lap times on the buretrop raceway drag race. This machine achieves a best time of 0. 52 seconds, which is as far as I know the best time for the drag race at the time of writing. Controls: W and S keys to pull hammer forward and backward. How to use: 1. Set your resolution, textures, and display settings to as low as possible and disable V-sync. Course time is measured in real time not game time, so in order to get a good time we need the frame rate to be as high as possible. 2. Build machine so that the red alignment marker is on or slightly ahead of the first tick mark on the drag race track. Make sure that the machine is in the middle of the track and aligned straight with the track. Build orientation is shown in the second picture 3. the drag race should automatically start, once or slightly before the count hits zero, pull the hammer back by pressing S 4. you are winner! Discussion: Is 'getting hammered' a cheap way to complete the drag race? Absolutely, but the fastest track time is still the fastest track time. However, what is really cheaper is the fact that course time heavily depends on frame rate. So achieving the best course time is not about building a better bot, it's about having the fastest computer.
