Mafia DE Chaos Mod

Chaos mod spices up gameplay by picking random effects, just like chaos mods in other games (see GTA series and original Mafia). Currently features 47 random effects. Among these are helpful effects such as god mode, disabling police, or devastating bullets; there are also plenty of harmful effects such as decreased visible area, taking away guns, or sneaking nitroglycerin into Tommy's car. Some effects are purely visual, such as color-changing cars or hiding Tommy's player model. Open the mod menu with F6 and choose "Start Chaos Mod" to begin. A list of active effects with their time left will appear on the left side of the screen, alongside a timer for when the next effect will be picked. These timers can be hidden with F7. An on-screen banner will still appear for 2 seconds to show which effect has been picked and how long it is.

Requires Nomad ScriptHook (found at https://db.nomad-group.net/page/MDE_ScriptHook)

Installation: drop the chaos folder into ScriptHook\data\scripts in the game folder.

Available customization includes:

• Effect picking process can be started and stopped manually

• Ability to choose cooldown (default: 45 seconds)

• Ability to choose base duration (default: 90 seconds). Effects' duration is a specified fraction of this base duration.

• Ability to turn off specific effects so they are never picked

• Ability to force-start or force-stop any effect for testing or getting acquainted with effects

• Choose font for timers, bonus points for choosing Comic Sans
