📋 About This Mod
The mod compresses game video cutscenes, which in uncompressed form take up almost 11 gigabytes. Thanks to this mod, the video folder will be compressed to 3,53 gigabytes.
This mod is created for saving disk space, primarily for those who play on small SSDs or HDDs, steam deck or other portable consoles. In general, where every gigabyte is important. I didn't change the video file resolution or fps. Everything remained in it's original form. Only the lowest possible bitrate was used to maintain good video quality.
Recoded all campaign cutscenes.
Compression ratio is 30%
In some videos the visual flaws is slightly noticeable. If you prefer max quality, then refuse to download this mod. I made this for myself and decided to share it with those who are not satisfied with a huge bloated files.
Installation:
Backup your video folder in sds_retail/video, in case you decide to revert back.
Unzip Mafia III. Recoded Movies.zip to the root game folder, with overwrite.
