Upgrade Unlocker

This is NOT a trainer, cheat engine table or a savegame!

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Before I get into mod details, please backup your saves!

The moment the unlock scripts run, an autosave will trigger - after that, it will be impossible to undo the unlocks.

Saves for Mad Max are located in the following two folders:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\<account number>\234140\remote\

C:\Users\<username>\Documents\WB Games\Mad Max\Backup Saves\

Both folders contain files named "GameSave##.sav" and "Settings.sav".

Zip those .sav files with 7zip or similar program to back them up.

I also recommend turning off Steam Cloud for Mad Max, just to be sure.

And now for the actual mod info.

By standing in a specific spot inside Jeet's stronghold , you can unlock many upgrades for Magnum Opus and Max at no cost.

Achievements "Maximum" and "Blockhead" cannot be obtained when using Standard version from the Main Files.

If you prefer to earn these achievements AND have as many upgrades unlocked as possible, use the Limited version from Optional Files.

The Standard Version

Magnum Opus:

• []Ramming Grill - all upgrades unlocked

  []Armor - "Baby Bars" are locked to prevent a softlock during mission "Wasteland Classic", other upgrades are unlocked

  []Engines - all upgrades unlocked

  []Exhaust - all upgrades unlocked

  []Tires - all upgrades unlocked

  []Suspension - all upgrades unlocked

  []Boost - all upgrades unlocked

  []Rims - all upgrades unlocked

  []Boarder Spikes - all upgrades unlocked

  []Sniper - "Base Sniper" is locked to prevent a softlock during mission "Into Madness", other upgrades are unlocked

  []Harpoon - all upgrades unlocked

  []Thunderpoon - "Thunderpoon Of Tenets" is locked to prevent a softlock during mission "Black Magic", other upgrades are unlocked

  []Side Burners - all upgrades unlocked

  []Repair Speed - all upgrades unlocked

  []Car Body - all car bodies are unlocked and ready for purchase at 0 scrap

  []Body Color - all paintjobs are unlocked

  []Decals - all upgrades unlocked

  I have not found a reliable way to unlock Hood Ornaments - apologies for the inconvenience.

  Max:

  • []Knuckledusters - all normal upgrades unlocked

    []Jacket - all normal upgrades and Max's black leather jacket unlocked

    []Wrist Armor - all upgrades unlocked

    []Ammo Belt - all upgrades unlocked

    []Head - all upgrades unlocked

  • Shotgun - all normal upgrades and Max's iconic sawed-off shotgun unlocked

    Max's combat skills have to be bought with scrap and cannot be set as "owned", not even through leftover developer scripts - again, apologies for the inconvenience.

    The Limited Version

    As previously mentioned, the Standard version of this mod will not let you get "Maximum" and "Blockhead" achievements on your current save.

    Having the upgrades unlocked and ready to use will not satisfy the achievement requirement - the upgrades must be purchased with scrap.

    This is where Limited version of the mod comes in.

    It will not unlock Max's standard equipment, the Ultimate V6, and Ultimate Big Chief V8 upgrades.

    Max's Iconic Jacket and Shotgun remain unlocked, as they do not affect the "Maximum" achievement in a
