Lost Judgment, like Infinite Wealth, has rain. And like IW, both have sequences where rain can demolish your FPS by 2x or more. This is because any rain sequences have a permanent doubling effect on the upscaling cost if you use FSR/DLSS/XeSS.

It is not fixed by letting rain pass, fast travelling, and even reloading a save. The only fix is to restart the game. You may check the upscaler cost doubling phenomena by using Optiscaler.

As Lost Judgment has rain right in the main menu, it causes a 2x performance loss throughout the play session. The only logical fix is to remove it. However this mod does NOT remove rain from scripted sequences. In said sequences, the only way to get past the fps tank is to complete said section and restart the game when the rain has finished.

Citations of said FPS loss in LJ specifically are scarce, but my mod for LAD:IW has sources stating the FPS loss.
