📋 About This Mod
QoL Bundle - Skip Intro, Batch Crafting, All Recipes, Coin Stacks, Bulk Trades, No Tutorials
Skip the Small Talk
v1. 3Skip Intro, Batch Crafting, All Recipes, Coin Stacks, Bulk Trades, No Tutorials
A quality-of-life bundle for replays. Nothing in the game files is rewritten: the plugin patches the game's events in memory while they load, so your saves stay compatible and the mod can be removed at any time. Every feature is a separate switch.
Features
Skip the intro
Splash logos, the dream text, the "voice from your wall", the first chat with Sybil through the hole, the name entry and the Ironman question are all skipped. You still pick the game mode (Explorer / Survivor / Cursed). You wake up in your apartment with the door already usable, exactly in the state the game leaves you after the vanilla intro. The name defaults to Sam; both the name and Ironman are parameters.
Batch crafting
After you confirm a recipe at the crafting station, a shop-style quantity window opens: left/right for +-1, up/down for +-10, capped at what your ingredients allow and at the 99-per-item stack, with the cap shown. Cancel crafts nothing. Time passes per batch, the same 15 minutes the game charges for one craft. After a craft the station menu opens again, so you can keep crafting without walking up to the table every time.
All recipes known
Every mixing recipe is unlocked in a new game and also when you load an existing save. "Use Recipe" lists everything you have ingredients for, and mixing by hand never shows "?????". Cooking is untouched, so the "you cooked something new" bonus still works.
Bulk trades with NPCs
Traders that take items as currency (the Rathole for rat tails, Emmanuel for cassette tapes, Kevin for worm eggs, Tickle for friendship points, the Black Ooze machine) open the same quantity window after "Trade!": the cap is how many you can afford and still fit in the 99-per-item stack, the price per piece is shown. One-time pieces (masks, rings, robes) stay one-time. Regular shops are untouched, they already ask for a quantity.
No tutorial pop-ups
The one-time hints the game shows on first use (crafting station, oven, TV, laptop, plant, the first "You are now HUNGRY" style status lessons, the save warning at Vincent's door, the first weapon damage, falling into holes, waterfalls) are marked as already seen in a new game and when loading a save. Story one-liners are left alone.
Coin stacks for vending machines
Audrey, the snack machine, the coffee machine and the candy machine all use the same quantity window after you pick a coin. The cap is the number of coins you carry, the total is shown in cents, and the starting value is exactly what you still need to reach the price. Cancel takes you back to the machine menu.
Parameters

[]SkipIntro (true) - skip the dream text, the voice, the Sybil chat and the name entry[/]
[]PlayerName (Sam) - name used when the intro is skipped[/]
[]Ironman (false) - start in Ironman mode (two saves per run) when the intro is skipped[/]
[]MultiCraft (true) - ask how many batches to craft[/]
[]CraftLoop (true) - reopen the crafting station menu after a craft[/]
[]CraftTimeScales (true) - charge 15 minutes per batch instead of per craft[/]
[]UnlockRecipes (true) - unlock all mixing recipes in a new game[/]
[]UnlockRecipesOnLoad (true) - unlock all mixing recipes when loading a save[/]
[]MultiCoin (true) - ask how many coins to insert[/]
[]MultiTrade (true) - ask for a quantity when trading items with NPCs[/]

With JSLoader the parameters live in meta.json and booleans are written as true/false. In plugins.js they are strings, "true"/"false". The plugin understands both.
Compatibility
-
[]Works with JSLoader and without it.[/]
[]Safe on existing saves: recipes unlock on load, the intro skip only affects new games, everything else is per-interaction.[/]
[]Patches are anchored to the content of the game's events, not to line numbers. If a game update moves things around, the affected feature simply stays off and writes a WARN line to LookOutsideQoL.log in the game folder.[/]
[]Mods that replace the crafting common event, the vending machine events or the intro map may conflict. Report them in the posts and I will look.
