This mod will add an option to recruit Lyle after he develops a photo for you. He will then move to your apartment and be a useable party member!

This initial release for the most part only has gameplay, and is being released for playtesting purposes. Interactions involving Lyle (eating events, video game reactions, event reactions, etc) are planned but not currently made or implemented.

Lyle is a high hp, high agility character with low stamina and middling attack and defense. In addition, his ranged/body/feet slots are locked, so he has fewer equipment options compared to other characters. In exchange, all of his abilities inflict status effects of some kind (including some unique to him). He is also immune to Blind, and has a small resistance to Slashing and Piercing. Keep him away from Fire, though!

I'm looking for feedback on how he plays, so please let me know!

The mod will need to be played on a new save. Also, make sure if you remove the mod to not use any saves you made while using it. It might cause issues!

This mod is made for Look Outside v1. 07 ONLY. If the game updates, the mod will be overwritten. Don't attempt to use the mod on a different version!

INSTALLATION

First, be sure to back up your data files!

Then, extract the mod and copy the data folder into your game folder (steamapps/common/Look Outside by default. You can Browse Local Files in steam to find it!) When it asks if you want to overwrite files, say yes to all.

The mod should be able to be removed by just validating your files in Steam. You can also use your backed-up data files and overwrite the mod files in the data folder.

NOTE

With the release of Look Outside 2. 0, it would appear this mod is no longer needed! I will keep it up in case for some reason someone wants to play an older version of the game, but with Lyle? I dunno.
