Ambrose Companion Mod

Allows you to recruit Ambrose, a character from Frankie's other in-development game. He has unique skills, different overworld interactions and an unique gimmick to separate him from the rest of the roster.

How to recruit:

- Head to Mutt's Fish and Chips

- Talk with Ambrose, he might be needing some help

What does he do?

Ambrose's unique gimmick is called Smoke. Smoke is a status effect that can stack up to 10, whether on companions or enemies. Smoke decays at the rate of 1 stack per turn, and increases the damage the afflicted combatant receives based on the stack. On Ambrose, however, Smoke won't be detrimental; instead, he deals increased damage based on his Smoke amount, which makes him a powerful ramp-up attacker. His skills scale off Luck, a stat that Smoke greatly enhances. He might also perform a support role by consuming Smoke to boost his allies, or by debuffing the enemy and allowing other strong attackers to enhance their damage output.

How do I download?

- Download the folder

- Extract the folder

- Drop the folder on Steam\steamapps\common, replace any files that can be replaced

- Launch the game, and it should be working

To keep in mind:

- This mod was made for version 2. 3 of Look Outside; attempting to use it on an earlier or later version of the game will almost certainly crash it. I do plan on updating this mod once 2. 4 proper comes out, though.

- This mod will override other mods that altered the same files, and might cause the game to crash. Always make a backup beforehand, and know that you'll have to choose which mod you'll wanna keep.
