Always Autosave

This plugin enables autosaving, which is normally only enabled in Explorer mode.

This mod doesn't affect when autosaving occurs, so keep in mind that autosaving normally happens when transitioning between scenes (i.e., going from the hallway to an apartment room).

Installation

• 1. Copy the "js" folder to the Look Outside installation folder, so the script is in the js/plugins folder, i.e. "Look Outside/js/plugins/AlwaysAutosave.js".

  2. In the Look Outside installation folder, edit js/plugins.js in a text editor, and append a new entry for this plugin:

  Manual Saving

  Manual saving can be enabled by setting the allowManualSaving parameter to "true" instead of "false", i.e.

  Game updates may reset plugins.js, in which case you may need to add your plugins back to it.

  Uninstalling

  Either remove the plugins.js entry, or set "status" to false, or verify your game files to completely reset plugins.js.

  Technical Details

  This plugin replaces the `Scene_Base.prototype.isAutosaveEnabled` function, so it always return true if not in a battle or an event. It's a simple tweak.
