Sloth's Visual Enhancement ReShade Preset

Lies of P has great art direction, there's no doubt about it. We all love that Victorian, moody, gothic aesthetic, but the engine's actual visuals struggle to enamor in the same way. Colors are washed out into a drab, lifeless greyscale when this game has so much color and character to share with us all.

That's where ReShade comes in. After hours of in-game playtesting and finicking, I've finally found a preset I'm happy to share. It adds so much depth to the artstyle that you'll wonder how you played without it. Here's Sloth's Visual Enhancement ReShade Preset. Check the images to see some before/after stills.

Requirements:

Most current ReShade w/ all options it has available

If you've never used ReShade, it's super easy to install. Literally just go to the website, download the installer, run it, and select Lies of P.

Installation guide:

AFTER installing ReShade, go to your Lies of P download directory (the one with the exe) then proceed to head to Lies of P > Binaries > Win64. Just drop the downloaded .ini in this Win64 folder.

And you're done! I really hope you enjoy it, and please share any screenshots you take with this on.

- If you don't like the movie-bar aspect ratio, simply uncheck the AspectRatio filter in ReShade.

- Performance mode is recommended to be ON. If you want to tweak any individual filters, uncheck performance mode then proceed to edit the filter how you like.

- ReShade IS NOT perfect. It does not change the visual lighting of the engine. You may not like how certain light sources behave with ReShade enabled, or how the HUD may occasionally be affected by it. Please feel free to edit this preset however you like to fit your preferences
