Left 4 Dead 2 No Bullet Tracers and Highbeam Spotlight Flashlight Mods

Using the onscreen crosshair felt like cheating and made firing weapons a little bit too easy, especially head-shots, so I searched online for a solution to remove the

onscreen crosshair.

The bullet trails had the same annoying feeling as if I never removed the floating crosshair.

I searched extensively online for a mod to remove the bullet trails but couldn't find any at all.

I decided to create my own No Bullet Tracers Mod and Step One was to learn how to create transparent pictures using GIMP-3. 0.

Second Step was to find the exact names of the original Left 4 Dead 2 files I needed to replace.

Third step was to watch tutorials on how to convert my transparent picture files and create new .vtf files using VTF Edit Reloaded.

Fourth step was to learn how to create new .vpk files using the vpk.exe creation tool and voila, I successfully created my first mod for Left 4 Dead 2!

Now when firing at all common and special infected, you have to align the barrel of every weapon directly at the infected and hope for the BEST!

I repeated the steps for creating my High-beam Spotlight Flashlight Mod which was much easier after learning how to create my own No Bullet Tracers Mod.
