Custom Health Per Survivor

Did you ever want to play L4D2 but each survivor has their own max health?

now you can and it's never been easier.

//Download Manger and Vortex CAN'T INSTALL THIS, YOU MUST DO IT MANUALLY!

To install the mod just extract the zip file and copy director_base_addon file

//DON'T JUST PUT THE NUT FILE INTO THE ADDONS FOLDER IT WON'T WORK IF YOU DO!

Once you have the file copy it and paste it in:

<l4d2 directory>/left4dead2/scripts/vscript/

and paste the file there and thats all you need to do.

//If for whatever reason you don't have a vscript folder in scripts then make a new folder an rename it to such (case sensitive only lowercase)

but what if you want to edit the health?

easy, open up director_base_addon with notepad, or notepad++, or any adjacent app.

then you'll see the code, but all you care about are these following lines and touch nothing else otherwise the code won't work:

Convars. SetValue("first_aid_kit_max_heal", "160");

Convars. SetValue("pain_pills_health_threshold", "115");

billMaxHP = 110,

zoeyMaxHP = 150,

francisMaxHP = 140,

louisMaxHP = 105,

nickMaxHP = 125,

rochelleMaxHP = 115,

coachMaxHP = 160,

ellisMaxHP = 90

self explainitory, just change the number of each survivor to your hearts contents.

then edit Convars. SetValue("first_aid_kit_max_heal", "160");

Convars. SetValue("pain_pills_health_threshold", "115"); to your highest number.

works for bots too.

since director_base_addon is directly installed into your vscripts folder you can change these values without needing to close and reopen the game or mess with vpk

every time, but for vaules to take effect you will have to go to the main menu before you change them.

//KNOWN ISSUES:

bots don't tend to heal themselves until they hit a really low number, so you may need to hold on to health packs to heal teamates with the largest health.

if you set any of them below 50, bots will continously heal you or that bot wasting all the health packs on nothing.

sometimes if a bot is set to low hp like 85 for example sometimes in the next round itll become 125, idk if i have another mod enabled thats causing this bug,

if its not mod interference idk how to patch that, sorry.

not really an issue but let me clear the record for ya: setting health to 0 or negitive doesn't kill you or bots at the startup.
