This is a freeaim progress that adds 3 significent features. Feature 1: Third Person Aiming that replicates the RE2 Remake The FOV zoom is as smooth as the SG552. It works perfectly in multiplayer. You can zoom with +alt1 button. Feature 2: Dynamic Crosshair This will solve not only the freeaim issue but also the problem of inaccurate third-person crosshairs in elegant way. The vanilla crosshair, which was fixed in the center of the screen, now accurately follows where you’re pointing the gun. The color changes to red when targeting an infected and green when targeting a survivor. Feature 3: Smooth First/Third Person Transition You can see how it smooth in the preview gif. Feature 4: Settings that can be changed at runtime Instead of "wabisuke.ini", you can change convars starting with "wabi_" now. This mod functions like a model mod rather than a script mod In multiplayer, changes only apply to players who have installed it locally. It doesn't require anything from the host. Installation Instructions VAC will regard this as a cheat, so add `-insecure` to the launch options to prevents the connection to VAC servers. Then, use Crowbar or VPKEdit to extract files from this VPK and place them as follows: Left 4 Dead 2/left4dead2/addons/freeaim.dll Left 4 Dead 2/left4dead2/addons/freeaim.vdf Left 4 Dead 2/left4dead2/addons/freelook.dll Left 4 Dead 2/left4dead2/addons/freelook.vdf Known Limitation - still you can't move properly while aiming with gamepad. I will raise this priority if I see more demand because I never use gamepad. If you are using mouse and keyboard, you can fix movement issue by disabling the gamepad setting. - freelook will not works with versus, I will add new convar to disable for this. And I didn't forget GADS just got delay.
