A simple mod that reinforces all part joints by utilizing built-in features and some simple C# magic, something I created as Kerbal Joint Reinforcement was abandoned. And as far as I can tell, my plugin should be less taxing than KJR, but I could be wrong. I haven't found any other mod since KJR, so this should fill that void.
