combat movement fix

Description

This fixes the Windows Steam version of KOTOR II becoming unable to move after combat actions, Force powers, or item use. It works in windowed mode.

Installation instructions

1. Extract this download anywhere convenient.

2. Right-click `Install-KOTOR2-PostCombat-Movement-Fix.ps1` and choose Run with PowerShell.

3. If Windows asks for permission, approve only after confirming the file came from this release.

4. Wait for the message confirming that the patch was applied.

5. Start KOTOR II normally through Steam.

The script automatically locates the default Steam installation folder. If Steam is installed elsewhere, open PowerShell in the extracted folder and run:

.\Install-KOTOR2-PostCombat-Movement-Fix.ps1 -Action Apply -GameDirectory 'D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Knights of the Old Republic II'

Replace the example path with the folder containing `swkotor2.exe`.

to remove the mod:

1. Close KOTOR II.

2. Double-click `Revert-KOTOR2-PostCombat-Movement-Fix.cmd`.

3. Read the confirmation, then press any key to close the window.

Removal restores `swkotor2.exe` from the automatic backup created during installation. The backup is kept beside the game executable as `swkotor2.exe.kotor2-movement-fix.bak`.

Requirements

- This release supports only the 32-bit Windows Steam executable with original SHA-256 `6A522E71631DCEE93467BD2010F3B23D9145326E1E2E89305F13AB104DBBFFEF`.

- It does not include or replace any game files.

- Close KOTOR II completely before installing or removing the patch.

- Back up saves as usual. This patch does not modify saves.
