Tired of spending many hours (and credits) trying to beat the three tiers on Manaan and Tatooine but still want the glory, credits and the side quests that come with swoop racing? (Note: this mod does not edit the tutorial on Taris)
This simple mod is intended only for (lazy) players who don't like swoop racing and who don't want to invest time and efforts trying to beat the track records but still want to access all content.
The layout of the two tracks has been modified in order to have straight courses and not to have to worry about obstacles.
You still have to change gears. It is not 100% cheese so as to allow you to brag about putting a 5% effort into it (maybe it is 4%). Do not touch any other controls. If you try to steer, you will hit invisible rocks.
Installation: Just extract the files into the KotOR Override directory. In other words, the following two files should end up in the override directory: m17mg.lyt and m26mg.lyt
This mod works in any language (it is just lyt files changing the coordinates of the pads which can be opened in notepad. No quests nor dialog have been edited which makes this mod compatible with everything that does not edit the tracks themselves - I don't know of any other mod editing such files - ).
