Just Some Stats Just Some Stats is a mod that shows statistics of production and estimation curves to help players meet consumption needs. Just Some Stats prints a stats message at the beginning of every game-year summarizing the last year, and gives some useful information and insights. Now updated for latest game version ------- Insight Insight is a feature that draws important and useful conclusions from the data collected and portrayed in the stats. Every year, an Insight for that year will show up just above the Stats Summary, helping you understand the data in a simple way, and much better than the advisor. Please note that insight must collect data for the first couple years before functioning properly ------- Stats --- Estimated Food Production: The estimated sum of food (all types) that is produced in one year given current production buildings. Does not account for fishing huts since fishing huts do not have a fixed yield (it actually depends on random factors including ship travel time). Does not account for partial employment. Both are potential areas of improvement for future updates -- stay tuned! -- Predicted Food Consumption (Current Population): The predicted amount of food required to fully feed the current population, given the population measured at the end of the year. Includes homeless people, however homeless people do not eat in this game and never starve -- serves as a worst-case estimate assuming homelessness is immediately destroyed. -- Predicted Food Consumption (Max Population): The predicted amount of food required to fully feed a population in a year, if the city were full to the brim and none were homeless. ------- Please note that Predicted Food Consumption for the Current and Maximum population requires the measurement of an average food consumption per person, and therefore is only accurately calculable after a 3 year sample data collection period
