Fractured Mirror - Custom Data Riku Replica Boss Theme - Kingdom Hearts The Antipode

This is a custom-made theme from my friend Dorked's Kingdom Hearts fanfiction Antipode. Kingdom Hearts: The Antipode is a longrunning series that explores what would happen if Riku inherited the Keyblade as fate intended, and the resulting consequences of his actions.

Though the first fic follows a similar story to KH1 (and is currently being remastered), subsequent entries diverge completely from canon, taking off in their own unique direction.

Antipode is easily my favourite Kingdom Hearts fanwork (I personally consider it to be better-written than canon KH) and several of my KH3 mods (eg: Terra Xemnas Voice) are directly inspired by this series. It can be read on fanfiction.com and AO3. It also has a dedicated Tumblr.

The track is titled Fractured Mirror. It plays during the second installment's final battle where Riku faces off against Riku Replica in Castle Oblivion. It was composed by the fanfic's author Dorked, who is perhaps best known for her Undertale fanwork Inverted Fate. She also made a really insightful character analysis for Terra which is a must-watch for BBS fans. Be sure to check it out!
