A Real Sorted Inventory 2 (ARSI 2)

About:

The inventory in KCD 2 is a major improvement over the first game. However, items are grouped only by main categories and not, for example, by individual equipment slots. This mod assigns subcategories to items based on their main category and the item's @ui_string. It is no longer necessary to change the localized name to force a sorted inventory view.

The "All"-Tab and "Horse"-Tab continue to display only the main categories. On the other tabs, these categories are further divided into subcategories, if there are any.

Currently only English and German are fully supported.

Configuration:

ARSI 2 comes with an optional configuration file (download from optional files) to further adjust the mod to your liking, like changing the order of categories or displaying the item's total stack weight/price.

Manually place the config file (arsi2.cfg) in the game's root directory.

You can make changes to the config file while the game is running. To apply the changes, type "arsi_reload" (without quotes) into the console to reload ARSI 2. If the inventory is open at that moment, simply close it and reopen it for the changes to take effect.

CUSTOM CATEGORIES:

ARSI 2 allows you to create custom Main Categories and Subcategories and assign them to items. For example you could move Groschen out of the "Usable" category into a brand new "Money" category to always display them at the top of the "Other"-Tab. For a detailed guide please read this article:

Somehow the article is rendered a little bit buggy (Code is not displayed as code and ordered lists have no indentation).

HEADING TEXT:

Enable this feature to get more natural headings, such as "Longsword" or "Shortsword"

When disabled, the headings will follow the style of the item's info category: "Sword – Long", "Sword – Short"

KEEP CATEAGORY ORDER:

By default, if you hide the headings, items will be sorted alphabetically. When enabling this feature, items will be sorted by category (only the headings disappear). This is useful if it bothers you that only one item per category is displayed and you see as many headings as there are items.

Enable this feature if the quantity of items should be taken into account when sorting by weight or by price

SORTING ORDER:

Specify the order of the main categories and their subcategories

Do not mix categories of different tabs. This can cause items to appear in the wrong tab or completely disappear!
