📋 About This Mod
Changes a few ability names to match Japanese-accurate localizations while still making sense.
This mod is incompatible with every other mod that changes text in the game's menus.
It's also really just a nitpick mod.
Changes 'Withstand Combo' back to 'Once More' in addition to "correcting" some inconsistently translated names throughout the game. This is more or less a "relocalization" mod for certain abilities. It isn't mandatory, but some ability names make little to no sense as is. This fixes that using the Japanese names as a basis.
For example, when I hear "Lucky Strike", I think of critical hits, which don't exist in any KH game other than KH1 and BbS.
As a result, it's been changed to "Luck Boost". In Japanese, the ability is called "Luck Up". The same goes for "Fire Boost" originally being "Fire Up", etc.
The goal here is consistency.
Examples:
Treasure Magnet -> Draw
Lunge 'n Launch -> Stride Break
Magnet Burst -> Magnet Splash
Lucky Strike -> Luck Boost
More Team Attacks -> Team Attack Up
