It triples the amount of money every merchant has.

x3 seemed like the sweet spot to me - more than that feels like cheating and less than that doesn't improve your gameplay.

On existing saves, you will need to wait/sleep for a day to let the NPC's to reset their inventories. New games should be fine.

Create /Mods/ folder in Data directory. Use Vortex for complex mods.
