Gathering Enhanced

Summary

During my quest to find updated mods for KCD I saw that all existing gathering mods were broken and they added incorrect alterations creating mod conflicts.

This mod focuses specifically on flower gathering and the Herbalism perks associated with it.  This mod will increase the radius and number of flowers picked when gathering.  Put simply -- more flowers per gather and faster leveling.

Herbalism Perk Changes

Flower Power changed from 30 to 10 flowers required in inventory

Horsenip changed from 30 to 10 flowers required in saddle

What to Download

I recommend a rate of 2x or 4x for playability.  You won't notice the gathering # change until you are at least level 2.  This is a mod that requires you to level your Herbalism skill up in order to harvest more.

For informational purposes only -- below is the default rate and formula used to calculate the experience, flower #, and radius.

Vanilla rate and calculation:

7xp per gather

Flower # = SQRT(HERBALISM SKILL) 0. 3

Radius = HERBALISM SKILL 0. 25

Installation - Manual

• []Choose one zip file to download.

  []Extract the zip file.

  []Copy the folder 'HarvestRange' to your KCD Mods folder (i.e. \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\KingdomComeDeliverance\Mods)

  [] Create or update a 'mod_order.txt' file within your KCD Mods folder (i.e. \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\KingdomComeDeliverance\Mods)

  [] Add 'HarvestRange' (without quotes) to a new line within the mod_order.txt file and save.  While not required, mod_order.txt helps KCD determine your mod order otherwise KCD will load mods alphabetically.  It is recommended to add all of your mod names to this mod_order.txt file if you do not already have it.

  []Click on 'Mod Manager Download' and download it to your local Vortex Instance.

  This video demonstrates how to correctly complete the Herb Quest from Brother Nicodemus in Sassau.  This quest requires you to pluck ONLY dandelions, stinging nettles, and thistles.  If you pluck anything else in the garden you will fail the quest.  With this mod and depending on your herbology skill you can easily pluck his entire field with just a few clicks including any hidden herbs clipped between rocks.  For best results pluck in the middle of his field before moving to the edges.
