See better in dark perk

Mod Overview:

This mod modifies the Night Crawler perk that is only active at dark, enhancing its effects by adding the benefit of a potion that improves your ability to see in the dark. You can find the perk under Main Level on the Stats page.

Recommended Versions:

• []25 and 50: These are recommended to avoid making interiors and light sources too bright, and to still let night be night.

  []Adjust defined dawn: The game defines dawn a little earlier than the sunrise, making a short period dark unless you have this.

You can still drink the Nighthawk potion on top of this effect.

Important Notes:

• []The effect is temporarily lost when you change your graphic settings. To see the change, adjust your settings and then load your save.

  []This mod does not apply to cut scenes.

  []If you adjusted your gamma settings, don’t forget to set them back to normal after installing the mod

Activation: Make sure you have the night crawler perk, and it will activate on its own during nighttime.

Installation: Extract the folder into:

📂 Kingdom Come - Deliverance II\mods

(If the mods folder doesn’t exist, create it manually.)

Typical installation path:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\KingdomComeDeliverance2\Mods\

Customizing strength:

• []Extract lighternights.pak in the data folder as if it was a zip file.

  []In buff__perk__lighternights.xml: edit owl+0. 25 switching the number to the multiplier you want.

  []Using winrar: Add the Libs folder to an archive. Format:ZIP and make sure to go to the time tab to uncheck high precision.

• Rename the zip to lighternights.pak and test

About Patched Table Files (PTF):

Originally introduced in Kingdom Come: Deliverance mods using the official tools, PTF allows targeted file modifications instead of overwriting entire files. This method enhances compatibility, enabling multiple mods to alter the same file provided they don’t modify the same lines. The term PTF is now used for similarly structured mods in this game even without the original tools.
