Instant Sales Chest

Instant Version

If you've finished the game you probably have a pile of stuff waiting to be sold and you just want to Stardew Valley it into the sales chest. Main file sells at 70% of value (basegame max), optional instant file sells at 100% of value.

Changes legacy_of_the_forge/selling_stuff/sell_cycle.xml. Incompatible with anything else that changes that file.

Multiplier Versions

There's a bunch of complex maths in the selling file involving prestige and gradually lowering item values but I don't want to mess with all of that too much.

This just increases the sale limit multiplier value (default 2) to 4 (2x), 8 (4x), 12 (6x) or 16 (8x).

On 18 prestige I was getting ~400 groschen per sale, so at the same prestige you'll get ~800, ~1600, ~2400, ~3200 groschen per sale depending on what multiplier version you pick.

Obviously a bit hard to test it at different prestige values etc so try it out and see what you think!

Optional "everything" Addon

If you want to be able to put anything in the sales chest and have it sell, install the instantsaleschest_everything optional file.

You can use it standalone if you want the basegame selling logic but for every kind of item, or you can install with TOGETHER WITH your chosen instant/multiplier sales version.

Please note that this addon contains a minor level modification so may conflict with future patches. Tested on 2026-03-11.
