As many have mentioned, stealing feels way too easy in KCD2 and trivializes many RPG elements of the game. When you can easily steal almost anything, it severely limits gameplay variety and satisfaction in my view. For this reason, it is my goal to fix this aspect of KCD2 by tweaking various parameters to make overall gameplay more immersive and fun, but not tedious. I am also releasing a hardcore lock-picking variant (out now) which will go great with this mod. This is the first version of this mod, and I felt it would be more efficient for users to try it out and give me feedback on their experience. This will likely inspire any needed future adjustments more quickly. Feedback is greatly appreciated.

New version adds extensive addition to stealth take down system which makes them not only more challenging, but more fun. This is because RNG has been significantly reduced during takedown attempts. This means that you will be forced to time the button press correctly to initiate a take down instead of relying on your stats/RNG. Takedowns also make much more noise, so be careful where you do this. The amount of time an NPC is unconscious after a stealth takedown is also reduced significantly. You cannot knock someone out and expect them to lay there for hours. Tougher enemies will also wake up faster. 

WHAT THIS MOD DOES

Various aspects of Pickpocketing have been tweaked:

[]You will have significantly less time to rummage in a victim's purse.[/]

[]The ability to switch through a victim's items while pickpocketing is now slower.[/]

[]A victim is much more likely to notice you robbing them if you try pickpocketing them a second or third time after having done it once already, occasionally leading to instant detection.[/]

[]The penalty for pickpocketing at a suboptimal angle is also more severe. The ideal angle is to be directly behind a person's pouch. Any angle away from that will make pickpocketing much more likely to fail. This means you need to pay closer attention to who you rob and whether their belongings are facing away from you or towards you.[/]

[*]The distance you need to be in order to pickpocket is significantly closer. You can no longer magically rob people's pouches from 9 feet away. You must stand very close to the victim's pouch. This mea
