Hardcore Alchemy - Less XP (PTF)

Description

Reduces alchemy XP earned by 50/60/70/80/90%. Trust me, this is not like other XP tweaks to alchemy, at least not the ones I tried before making this mod. With the 90% version, you will be earning something like 10 alchemy XP per brew before bonuses which at lvl 20+ is something like 1 or 2%.

I'm playing on hardcore with the numbskull perk and I felt like it didnt do much to my alchemy XP and after a few hours of brewing while watching some streams I was already at level 30. So I made this.

Wonders of Nature (a Scholarship perk) will multiply your base rate by 20% so it is a true 20% benefit. ie if you take the 50% nerf, once you pick up the perk, you're only going to be nerfed by 40%. If you take the 80% nerf, once you pick up the perk, you're only going to be nerfed by 76%.

Optional files: Because you will be doing a lot more alchemy, its best to reduce how much merchants will pay for your potions, poisons, perfume and soap. Compatible with mods that dont touch alchemy buy/sell multipliers such as Actalo's Realish Economy found on Steam workshop. Thats what I use combined with my alchemy less XP 80% and alchemy sell nerf 50% (undecided between 50% and 75%, have to get through the entire game to know if I should have generated more or less income from it).

This mod pairs well with Immersive Faster Animations. Which just speeds up animations. You still get the full alchemy experience.

Or you can skip animations entirely with Instant Alchemy. You still have to do all the actions, but with no motion sickness animations.

Installation instructions

- Install only one Main file and one Optional file if you want.
