Custom Cat Ears Accessory

I made some cute cat ears for everyone to wear. This is a companion mod with the puppy dog ears accessory.

  ➡️Installation & How To Use

  • []Unzip and place inside your KCD2 Mods folder. Final path: SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\KingdomComeDeliverance2\Mods\rainy_catears

    []Done. Delete folder rainy_catears to remove.

    Both male and female versions can be purchased from the trader underneath the Zhelejov Inn bridge in Trosky or the female tailor at the Kuttenberg stalls.

    

    Items can be added using console commands.

    For unique NPCs, you need to modify clothing_preset.xml and add the item ID to their outfits - you may need to remove any other hats and coifs.

    Look at other mods that modify NPC outfits to see how to do this (it's very easy).

    Notes & To Do

    • []Texture/Model are my first attempt at making something new; they may be improved and optimized later.

      []Cat ears are

      not recommended

       for bald people; the seams are unappealing imo.

      []May update item category if no clipping is preferred.

      []The ears use the Skin shader and match the character's body diffuse value, but

      it isn't perfect

      . Some NPCs have a unique body texture and the cat ears can only perfectly match by making a custom material for these people.

      Compatibility
      • []Should be compatible with other inventory_preset mods after 1. 3 update.

        []Uses base game hair textures, any changes to these files will affect this mod.
