BackupFolderApp (For Storing Saves)

This app will allow you to automatically back up any files that are created in a folder into a backup folder. This was made to counter the unfortunate losing of all saves through misclicking "New Game" instead of "Save Game".

Every ten seconds the app checks if new files have been added to an origin folder (in this case it is a playline folder for KCD2). If a new file is detected, it will copy that file to a backup folder in the app file directory. This way, if you happen to accidentally start a new playline and overwrite your progress, you can find your saves in the backups and not lose all progress. If a file already exists, it will give the new file a "_Backup#" tag to store multiple files with the same original name.

This app will work for other situations as well, but I made it after reading about some unfortunate souls losing all progress through an easy human error. May your saves rest in piece and our lord Jesus Christ have mercy on your replaying soul.
