STOBE is a powerful AI framework for Kenshi.

The goal of this mod is to build meaningful gameplay systems with AI NPCs in Kenshi.

STOBE is not limited to one special companion. You can interact with characters across your Kenshi playthrough through AI conversations.

Unique NPCs can use biographies that match their character. Random NPCs receive their own names and personality traits so they do not all act the same.

You can even talk to animals by turning on Animal Talks, if you really want to ask a Beak Thing what it is thinking.

🔉EVERYONE HAS A VOICE

STOBE gives AI NPCs audible voices during conversations.

Kenshi races and unique characters can use voices chosen for them. Greenlanders, Scorchlanders, Shek, Hivers, Skeletons, Cannibals and named NPCs can sound different instead of sharing one voice.

General voices are used when no closer match is available.

You can also use your microphone to talk directly with NPCs.

STOBE feeds live information from Kenshi directly to AI NPCs so they can respond to the world around them.

What the AI tracks:

  []Character statistics, skills, health and injuries.[/]

  []Travel, trade and other important events.[/]

  []Town ownership, faction changes and world states.[/]

  []Kenshi history, people, factions, locations and lore.[/]

  Your Settlements:

  • []Power, batteries, gates and defenses.[/]

    []Damaged buildings and unfinished construction.[/]

    []Farming, production, storage and available supplies.[/]

    Characters can understand when important people have died, towns have changed hands and major events have altered the balance of power.

    Each NPC is only told about conversations and events they could have witnessed.

    🎛️TOTAL AI CONTROL

    STOBE gives you control over how AI is used in Kenshi.

    You can choose different language model providers, tune settings and assign special rules to NPCs or groups through Profiles.

    Four model choices are available:
