Walking With Dinosaurs - Audio Mini-Pack (Replacement Sound Mods)

With life proofing very busy, I'm not quite able to work on my big Audio Overhaul Pack just yet.

So, I decided to work on a much smaller project, to once again give you guys something to munch on in the mean time!

Introducing, the Walking With Dinosaurs - Audio Mini-Pack!

This relatively small yet often requested pack comes with 4 sound mods, all of which inspired by the classic documentary series!

As usual, the WWD-AMP is also available for JWE 2!

Aside from minor differences and the obvious lack of juveniles, it's functionally identical!

As for the pack's content, below I've listed and detailed the 4 species included!

(I've tried to include more species but man, most of the show's sounds are crunchy)

Species Included:

Allosaurus:

The poster boy of the pack, needs no introduction, all of its vanilla sounds have been replaced with the ones from WWD!

Yes, I even included the slowed down chimp calls, I also (for all 4 mods) tried to make the sounds fit the behavior!

(Keep note, since Allo has an incredibly messy sound system, it may utilize a loud roar whilst its mouth is closed.

Also keep in mind, due to the automatic pitch shifting, there may be random chimp events for the juveniles lol.)

Still, I was able to whip up a better Allosaurus sound mod than I had thought!

Especially considering that dreadful sound system...

Coelophysis:

These little buggers were surprisingly fun to add!

I knew people would request them, plus they had some good sound rips available, so why not!

Although, I've filled some audio gaps with the Carnivores Dinosaur Hunter Coelophysis.

No worries, they fit the overall sound profile, plus I needed more variation so yeah, more sounds for all!

Diplodocus:

Whilst I'm not the biggest fan of the WWD Diplodocus sounds, I do consider it an improvement over JWE 3's slowed dog whining.

I particularly enjoy the distant sounds I gave this guy, plus, I couldn't include only Allo now could I?

Therizinosaurus:

Man did this one take ages to get into a good spot, I'm still not quite happy with it, but I did the best I could.

TLDR, Therizinosaurus has a sound system that's very catered towards its movie sounds.

To explain it a little more, a lot of the animations are based around it being able to click.

Thus, I had to include clicking of some sort, I did grab new clicking that fits more with WWD Theri though!

There's also automatic pitch shifting that happens during roars, which I have no control over.

The limited selection of old crunchy sounds also didn't help, had to cook up some custom stuff for this one.

Overall, not my favorite sound mod, but I really wanted to include this species in the pack regardless.

It can still sound really good though, especially when certain calls line up!

And that's it, enjoy the pack!

I probably won't cover more WWD species in this pack, apologies.

Mostly because the other WWD species have either have too
