Rhoetosaurus was a large sauropod dinosaur that lived during the Middle Jurassic period in what is now Australia. The certain pronunciation of the name is unclear; The name Rhoetus, derived from Greek mythology, is most accurately pronounced "ROI-tus" (sounds like "boy"), though "REE-tus" (rhyming with "fetus") is also commonly heard in modern contexts.
