Plateosaurus was a large herbivorous dinosaur from the Late Triassic period, known for its long neck and powerful hind limbs. It had a small skull with plant-crushing teeth and grasping hands with large claws, possibly used for defense and feeding. This dinosaur exhibited developmental plasticity, with adult sizes ranging significantly, and lived in what is now Central and Northern Europe.

Lisowicia, an extinct genus of giant dicynodont synapsid, lived during the late Norian or earliest Rhaetian age of the Late Triassic Period, approximately 210–205 million years ago, in present-day Poland. It was the largest known dicynodont and non-mammalian synapsid, reaching lengths of about 4. 5 meters, comparable in size to modern elephants. Lisowicia was unique among its kind for its erect posture and limb structure, which were similar to those of mammals and dinosaurs.

Smilosuchus, a member of the archosaur group, was a fearsome predator that roamed North America during the Late Triassic period, around 235 million years ago. Known as “knife crocodile,” it had a large rostral crest and nasal bulge, supporting raised nostrils. Smilosuchus was one of the largest known phytosaurs, with a skull up to 155 cm long and an estimated length of 7 to 12 meters, indicating a powerful bite and the ability to hunt large prey.

Smok, also known as Smok wawelski, was a medium sized carnivorous archosaur  that lived during the latest Triassic period, specifically from the latest Norian to early Rhaetian stage, between 208. 5–205 million years ago. Its remains were discovered in Lisowice, southern Poland. Smok was the largest known predatory archosaur in central Europe during its time, larger than any other known theropod dinosaur or pseudosuchian. It measured an estimated 5 to 6 meters in length, with a skull measuring 50 to 60 centimeters long. The genus name “Smok” translates to “dragon” in Polish, aptly reflecting its formidable size and predatory nature. Smok has a dubious classification either being a Raisuchian or a theropod Dinosaur.
