:: REQUIREMENTS::

  ::INSTALLATION::

  • []To use the mod, open your Jurassic World Evolution 2 game folder (there is an option to open this folder in Steam) and then browse to Win64\ovldata\Content0

    []Rename the file Main.ovl in there to something like Main.ovl.bak and then place Main.ovl from the ZIP file in there.

    []Start the game!

    :: FEATURES::

    This Mod does three things:

    1. Change Diseases (database.c0diseasedata.lua):

    • []All Diseases are healed after 60 seconds

      2. Change Injuries (database.c0injurydata.lua):

      • []All Injuries are healed after 60 seconds (with two exceptions being healed after 45 seconds).

        3. Change Cohabitation of Species (c0dinosaurs.fdb in table SpeciesCohabitation):

        • []All Herbivores can cohabitate with each other (well, nearly all). This includes Sauropods

          []Indoraptor can cohabitate with Indoraptor

          []Deinonychus can cohabitate with Dilophosaurus and Velociraptor

          []Spinosaurus can cohabitate with Baryonyx and Suchomimus

          []Indominus Rex can cohabitate with all Herbivores (for the fun of it, this goes NOT the other way round. So Indominus stays cool, but all other Dinos go wild).

          ::PERSONAL NOTE::

          One more thing: I made this for fun and my own personal use and originally didn't intended to upload it. Therefore, I do not in any way feel obliged to fix errors or keep it up to date. If you think there is something wrong or should be changed, feel free to learn how to do it by yourself. It's actually not that hard and there are guides on how to do it out there.

          Tools used by me for modding all of this:

          • []Notepad++ (with Compare-Plugin)

            []DB Browser for SQLite

            []Cobra Tools (including Installation of Python)

            As you see above, I've added the names of the files which were changed (or the name of the table in case of the .fdb database file). You can extract the original files using Cobra Tools and compare the .lua files from this mod using Notepad++ to see what exactly was changed.

            Same thing goes for the .fdb database. You can open it with DB Browser for SQLite. To make it really easy for you, I have included two .sql Scripts, one thats selects information from the database and one that does the actual changes. I'm pretty sure that, with a little bit of help from the web, you can figure this out. So, have fun!
