📋 About This Mod
Beishanlong was an early, large, basal Deinocheirid. The holotype was a subadult individual with an estimated length of 20-23 ft long and a weight near 1,400 lbs, a rather robust animal.
I noticed that JWE Orniothimimids have a very friendly design language. By friendly, I mean the designs overall, even deinocheirus, looks friendly and approachable. I wanted to design Beishanlong according to its scientific proportions but wanted to give it a different design language than the basegame ornithomimids that still feels plausible. I designed it in this line of thinking: Imagine you are walking in the woods. You come across this odd animal. You are unsure if it is friendly or dangerous. You lock eyes with this animal -- its intentions are unknown, therefore instilling doubt or possibly fear while in its presence.
