Squadbag Fix (RETRO)

Description

THIS MOD FIXES SQUADBAG ITEMS ALLOCATION WHEN SPLITTING SQUADS

- The merc you split away only gets ammo for the gun(s) he has in his inventory.

- The amount of ammo depends on how many other mercs in that squad have weapons in their inventory, which use the same ammo.

Examples:

If you have 5 mercs that use 5. 56 NATO and you split one away, he will get 1/5th of the entire 5. 56 stack.

If you split away the only merc who uses . 50cal, he will get all of the Fitty.

This mod also allocates PARTS according to Mechanical stat of the merc

Vanilla depends splitting of Parts on the "Mechanic" Specialisation. If no "Mechanic" was present (meaning Steroid, Livewire, Kalyna, Vicki or Magic), it split equally.

With this mod the overall stack of Parts gets split according to the merc's Mechanical skill - in relation to the summed up overall Mechanical skill of the entire squad.

If one merc has Mechanical skill of 33 and the entire squad has a totalled Mechanical skill of 99, the one merc will get 1/3 of all Parts when he is split away.

If a merc has Mechanical 0 he will get no parts.

Meds still get split according to number and type of Medkits present, like in Vanilla.

- Not compatible with other Squadbag mods (if they change function OnChangeUnitSquad).

- It was a bug. The logic was in the code all along. Devs just did a really silly typo. True story.

(This mod is part of the upcoming RETRO mod I am working on. Since it is such a good and important fix I feel I had to single release it)

- included Ordnance in ammo splitting (40mm, RPG rockets, Mortar shells)

- fixed it so that ammo used by nobody doesn't get split but remains in the original squad in full

Installation instructions

Download & unpack as usual.
