ZoiWorks - Protect and Serve

ZoiWorks - Protect & Serve

Serve with honour or take the envelope. Bliss Bay is your beat.

Your Zoi can finally wear the badge – and decide what kind of cop they want to be.

Protect & Serve adds the Blissbay Police Department as an active career. Just like any other active career, you join it on your phone: open Careers, pick the Blissbay Police Department and apply as a Police Officer. Then put on the uniform and work your shifts in Bliss Bay. The Protect & Serve panel is your radio and your notebook: dispatch calls come in, you respond and handle the scene yourself – talk to witnesses, stop the robber at the register, sprint after the one who runs and take them to jail. Climb five ranks, from Community Officer to Chief of Police, and unlock new actions and calls with every promotion. And when nobody is looking, the badge also opens other doors: bribes, shake-downs, planted evidence and doctored reports – as long as Internal Affairs doesn't catch on.

• []AN ACTIVE POLICE CAREER – work your shifts at the Blissbay Police Department and rise from Community Officer to Chief of Police.[/]

[]THE PROTECT & SERVE PANEL – your own police window with Duty, Patrol and Service Record tabs. It hides with the game UI and folds into a small badge.[/]

[]DISPATCH CALLS – noise complaints, thefts, vandalism, suspicious persons, fights, patrol requests, store robberies and – for the Chief – bank robberies.[/]

[]ON THE JOB – walk the beat, patrol the districts, file reports, take statements, issue citations and check IDs – every shift has something to do.[/]

[]MAKE THE ARREST – sprint in with Freeze! Hands Up!, tase the ones who run, cuff the suspect and take them to jail. Not every suspect gives up quietly.[/]

[]WANTED LEVEL – Zois who break the law get one to three wanted stars above their head – spot them on the street and bring them in.[/]

[]CALL FOR BACKUP – fellow officers come to the scene and take your orders.[/]

[]DAY AND NIGHT SHIFTS – every rank has its own schedule, from daytime community work to late patrols.[/]

[]CROOKED BADGE – or stay clean: Demand a Bribe, Shake Down, Plant Evidence, Make It Disappear, Doctor the Report and the 10-level Police Corruption skill – with Internal Affairs watching.[/]

[]AMBITION, DESIRED LIVES & WANTS – the Protect & Serve ambition, Life of Justice and Life Above the Law, the Justice-Driven trait, four aptitudes and 24 police wants.[/]

[]MOODLETS ON THE JOB – Collar of the Day, Hot Pursuit, Robbery Foiled, They Got Away, Easy Pickings and many more.[/]

[]EVEN BETTER WITH ORGANIZED CRIME – works fully on its own, but together with ZoiWorks - Organized Crime you can turn gang members into informants as a Detective, Pressure the Boss as Chief and get envelopes from the gangs.[/]

  This is a beta (0. 1) – expect bugs

Protect & Serve is big, and not every call, rank and moodlet has been tested in every situation yet. Nothing should break your save, but some things may not work as they should. Found a bug? Tell me on Discord or in the comments – what you did and what happened – and it gets fixed in the next update. Updates come often.

🚓 HOW TO JOIN THE FORCE

Just like any other active career: open your phone, go to Careers, pick the Blissbay Police Department and apply as a Police Officer. That's it – your first shift starts as a Community Officer, and the Protect & Serve panel opens as soon as you're on duty.
