R3mains' Custom Items

R3mains' Custom Items is an ambitious project of mine that I started back in March 2025. Originally intended as a sort of addition to Chuck's Custom Items, this mod grew rapidly, as it was (and still is, to an extent) my main project I was working on. From 2 guns at launch to more than 85, including other items such as working night vison, armors such as an exosuit, an RPG, and many more to satisfy your interests. I have spent many hours attempting to roughly balance and make these additions feel as a true expansion, and not a meddled mess of simple contraptions. Despite all of this work, if you are looking for a strict, contemporary addition to the game, that is perfectly balanced and optimized, this is not for you. The act of adding more than 200 items of mostly weaponry will change the balance of the game somewhat. For those who are not purists, this mod is hopefully mandatory in every playthrough, and will fundamentally change the way you use weapons and gear within the radius. Many hours of playtime can be spent just with this mod, as many items are not in the shop and must be found; you will probably play at least 5 runs without every finding every weapon offered in this mod. I hope you have the greatest fun using all of the many items in this pack, and it is fair to assume i have at least tripled the playtime of many with this creation of mine.

• []Download Chuck's Custom Items, get the main file AND the dependency file then extract in your Pak folder.[/]

  []Download Common Mod Dependencies, get ONLY the file corresponding to your other mods and extract in your Pak folder.[/]

  []Do NOT use the "Scarce" or "Abundant" version of the Scavenger Mod with custom items, their data is not affected and the custom items will be very common/rare.[/]

  []Download the main file and extract it into your Pak folder.[/]

  []Ideally, you would want to install this on a fresh save without changing whatever main overhaul you have, otherwise the stash replacers may be a little buggy, but they will still work fine otherwise.[/]

  []Having MCM not required but it will put the custom menu in that menu aswell.[/]

• []Download either Frozen Wasteland Remastered, Desert Storm, or Dynamically Climbable Enviroment, and extract in your Pak folder.[/]

  []Download the optional stash file and extract in your Pak folder[/]

  []Stashes are NOT balanced, they are designed to be used without a cheatsheet.[/]

  []Stashes show up on level load so you don't need to start a new save, but it is recommended.[/]

• []Penetrator UNLESS you get the older, separate main file at the bottom of the files page.[/]

  []EFT SCAR is COMPLETELY broken with custom items, and included is Chuck's anyways.[/]

  []FreeCam will break things likes pouches and stashes.[/]

  []IF you want a custom timescale, ONLY use Chuck's Timescale from Common Mod Deps or things WILL break![/]
