Description

This mods adds a fully customizable slide mechanic to the game, With the option to add your own custom sound (With modding knowledge)

You can now tac slide around the Radius like a MW19 operator, Or tailor it more like an Apex legends slide? Or maybe you want gritty realism with a hefty small, but helpful slide to give a bit of an edge, This mod has all that an more covered.

SLIDE MIN SPEED -- How fast you must be moving to initiate a slide (If you're using my Better Movement mod, Depending on your movement settings, you may need to tweak this to your liking.)

SLIDE BOOST FORCE -- The impulse force added when the slide starts (Higher = Faster/Harder initial push when sliding)

SLIDE FRICTION -- How much friction applies during a flat slide (Lower = longer slide)

SLIDE BRAKING -- How much braking applies during a flat slide (Lower = longer slide)

SLIDE MAX_DURATION -- Hard timeout to guarantee the slide ends and gives controls back (If you want a shorter slide do change FRICTION and BRAKING)

SLIDE SOUND PATH  -- If you find a good internal sound path using FModel, or pack your own .pak, paste it here. By default there is no slide sound

-To slide simply initiate a crouch while moving faster than  SLIDE MIN SPEED (Sprinting)

Installation instructions

1. Install UE4SS Clean Repack

2. (If UE4SS was not installed, and you just installed it, Run the game once then close it, If not skip to step 3)

3. Drag the contents of the mod Zip folder into your ITR2 Directory at "steamapps\common\IntoTheRadius2"

(You can right click the game in your steam library, Hover over "Manage" and click "Browse Local Files")|

4. Confirm everything is in the right spot (IntoTheRadius2>IntoTheRadius2>Content>Paks>LuaMods>SprintToSlide)

5. Play game and Slide like an MW19 operator.
