No Magazine Grab

Description

Prevents magazines from weapons with magazine thumb latch (AKs, Groza, G36, Saiga, MP5, G3, etc.) from being pulled out directly by hand, which can often happen by accident. Magazines must instead be released with the weapon's normal magazine-release control. Magazine insertion and the native release delay remain unchanged.

Supported weapons:

- AS VAL / VSS

- MP5 standard and short variants

- G3 standard, short and sniper variants

- Magazine-fed Mosin using the Archangel 10-round detachable magazine

- Tube-fed and internal-magazine weapons are not modified

- The Mosin's stripper-clip and internal-magazine loading remain unchanged

Installation instructions

Vortex installation:

1. Download the main file with Vortex.

2. Enable the mod and deploy your mods.

3. Launch the game.

The archive includes an enabled.txt marker for compatible UE4SS installations and does not replace your shared mods.txt file.

Manual installation:

Extract the archive into the Into the Radius 2 game folder. The included directory structure places the mod at:

IntoTheRadius2/Content/Paks/LuaMods/NoMagazineGrab

If your UE4SS installation does not support enabled.txt markers, ensure this entry is enabled in LuaMods/mods.txt:

NoMagazineGrab : 1

Uninstallation:

Disable or remove the mod in Vortex. For a manual installation, remove the NoMagazineGrab folder and, if added manually, its line from LuaMods/mods.txt.
